Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be seen as the ability of a machine (the result of human creation) in completing a task, which shows at least some of the following behaviors related to human intelligence: planning, learning, reasoning, problem solving, knowledge representation, perception, movement, and manipulation; also social intelligence and creativity to some extent. Although the basics of AI have been introduced since 1950, its popularity is increasing in this decade. This phenomenon occurs due to the development of the internet and telecommunications technology which encourages the availability of large amounts of data, so as to enable AI technology in processing large amounts of data in real time. In addition, the development of hardware technology also encourages the development of machine learning technology which is part of AI technology, especially in deep learning. These developments also underlie the emergence of industry 4.0, where AI is one of its components.
Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research and Applications welcomes full research articles in the area of Artificial Intelligence from the following subject areas:
